An elderly woman died after her and her husband were assaulted in their home early this morning.
Philadelphia Police were called to the 6700 block of Castor Avenue in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia around 2 a.m. this morning, according to investigators.
They found the assault victims -- both in thier 70s -- and they were rushed to Aria Health - Torresdale Hospital. The woman died at the hospital, the man remained hosptialized with injuries.
Northeast Detectives say they have made an arrest.
