A bear is wandering through a residential area Wednesday morning north of Los Angeles.
The bear has been climbing fences and roaming through residences' back yards in Sun Valley (map), about 20 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. The bear surprised two horses as it emerged from one backyard, then walked through another corral with three horses a few blocks away.
Police in squad cars are following the bear, which was last seen along Clybourn Avenue.
